We had a wonderful time with our students and families during our *Children’s Mental Health Matters: Recess for a Reset* event! 💚🛝
This special recess focused on supporting mental wellness for both students and families through self-care stations, healthy snacks, movement activities, and a fun, calming environment where everyone could relax, connect, and recharge. 🌟

-Take part in The Great STEM(+) Expo for all ages, happening 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Salisbury Middle School. Free and open to all.
-Visit the Pridelands with the cast and crew of the Prince Street Elementary Drama Club's "The Lion King Kids," shows at the school at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
-Browse through hundreds and hundreds of excellent pieces of artwork in the annual Wicomico County Student Art Show, in the Paul Sarbanes Branch of the Wicomico Public Library in Downtown Salisbury. Open library hours Saturday and Sunday, and then it closes.
-Take a seat in the Wicomico High School Auditorium for the Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre's "The Little Mermaid," whose cast includes some of our talented students. Shows at 11 a.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.





This morning, we treated our amazing team to a delicious breakfast with Bop ’n Bowl Breakfast on Wheels, featuring bagels with cream cheese, yogurt with granola, fresh fruit, and honey. 🥯🍓✨
A big thank you to our faith-based partners, Supernatural Faith Center and St. Paul AME Zion and Restoration COGIC for donating fresh fruit, cheese, muffins, and yogurt for our staff and teachers. Their generosity truly makes a difference!

Students in Mrs. Wharton’s class put their Topic 12 skills to work by measuring to the nearest inch, helping Ms. Vaughn cut vinyl for their Field Day t-shirts! Learning + teamwork = success (and some awesome shirts in the making)! 💙💛
