Today we kicked off Read Across America Week with our first guest reader, Dr. Stauffer, Superintendent of Wicomico County Public Schools! He visited Ms. Truitt’s Prekindergarten class and shared a special story to start our celebration of reading.

We’re excited to welcome more guest readers throughout the week. Each classroom will have a special visitor read to them as we celebrate our love of reading! 📚✨

This week, we activate a very special mission — celebrating our incredible School Social Worker, Ms. Sample! She supports our students’ social, emotional, and academic well-being. Whether she’s lending a listening ear, helping students navigate challenges, supporting families, or collaborating with staff, she always leads with compassion and care. Thank you, Ms. Sample, for all that you do for our students and our school community! 💙
